FALL is COMING…
Topic : Daily Glimpses
I adore the feeling of Fall in the air.
May I present the 1st jean jacket morning of the season…
There was also a lot of interest with the dog poop bags.
But that’s in every season not just the Fall.
And also the 1st sweater morning of the season…
While sitting in Avery’s dog bed.
All things Avery are fantastic in CBJ’s eyes.
The rest of life around here has been the the usual.
Lots of interest in wearing my clothes.
And “helping” fold the laundry.
Helping my with office tasks…
And in case I haven’t mentioned it before…
CBJ talks ALL. THE. TIME.
“Mama, wipe it off for you”. When her hands are dirty.
“Mama, take a bath. MAMA, take a bath with you”. When she gets a glimpse of the tub or when I get done working out.
“Dada, put his shirt on”. When she sees Travis in the morning.
“Where did Clarabelle’s bellybutton go?”.
And then grins as we “find” her belly button. We do that like, 50 times a day.
“Want to go downstairs”. Where are things toy related live.
“Where did Big Bunny go?”. When her favorite toy has gone missing.
“Mama, drink her wine”. When relaxing on the back porch.
Alright. I will then.
She was really into that wine.
She also told Travis, “Dada, put his wine down” as she stared with distain at his beer.
I chuckled. And drank more wine.
There are many other things she says. SO many.
She’s in that questioning phase.
We name every character in every book.
We read my yoga magazine and we name every person in it.
I am partial to matching the color of the outfit to the person’s name.
So, most of the time anyone wearing purple is “Penelope” and any man wearing blue is “Bill”.
It’s hard coming up with names on the spot…
There have also been a few new interests the past few weeks.
One would be brushing her teeth with toothpaste.
Honest Company makes a great paste that cruelty free and excellent for kids (meaning they can swallow it- yay.).
The other things she’s been into that I’m not thrilled about it sticking her hands down her pants.
Which is fine in general, everyone needs to know about their body but lends to lots of hand washing and some messy situations that I will not get into.
So we bought these pajamas.
Which I find darling.
She’s trying to find her bellybutton there..
They also make it impossible to get into the private areas at will.
Until she learns how to unzip zippers.
I’ll cross that bridge when it comes.
The p’jams are Hannah Anderson.
And this style goes up to size 3.
Alright, I’m off.
Till next time, enjoy your sweaters.
